 | We hebben brieven gekregen van kinderen die wonen in het weeshuis van Mama Jane, het project dat gesteund wordt door de Johannesschool. Daarom hebben we besloten om brieven terug te sturen, in het Engels! Dat viel nog niet mee, maar het is wel gelukt en binnenkort gaan ze naar Oeganda!
Hieronder een van de brieven, die van Heather Bloemers.
Hello Mama Jane,
My name is Heather Bloemers. I am 11 years old and i live in Akersloot. We have got a nice house with a living room and 4 sleeping places. And we have a kitchen ware my mother makes nice things to eat. I sleep in a room with my sister, i also have a brother. In are house we have got a swimming pool, we not really use it where many. We also have a nice garden with a pond, we always sit on the grass with oar rabbits. Now i gone tell something about my day.
This morning i woke up at 7:30, than i eat my breakfast and put on my clothes. After that i broche my teeth and make my bed. After al of that i go to school. My school is Sint Johannesschool, i am in group 8. My teacher is Wouter Molenaar. He is a great teacher and can play guitar very good. Sometimes he is very funny and sometimes very annoying, hihihi. But most of the time he is very sweet and nice. At school we learn English. I love to draw and gym, every day we count. I don’t like counting. After school i play with friend or i play piano. On Wednesday i have piano lessons and on Friday i have horse riding lessons.
I love horse riding, once in a month in do a contest dressage with Pluk a nice little horse. For dinner I eat worm thinks like spaghetti, rise and other thinks. After dinner I look TV.
if there’s nothing on TV, i go to my bedroom.
